Director of Summer Programs
Kayla’s passion for youth and their families can be traced back to before her professional days. Whether as a nanny or a preschool summer camp teacher, she has been involved with families from the start. After earning her degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2014, she was drawn to the Davidson Institute mission and the families it serves and joined the team full time.
Taking her own experience as a camper with her, Davidson gives Kayla the opportunity to develop programs that provide a place for students to grow, feel connected, and make lasting memories. Kayla’s favorite part of each summer is seeing the friendships formed and making thoughtful and enduring connections with families.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys exploring beautiful Northern Nevada with her family and attending the unique and fun local events held year-round. Some of her favorite things include traveling, house projects, spending time with family and friends, and days at the lake.
