Director of Communications
Mark Dlugosz began his tenure with the Davidson Institute in 2006 as a part of the web and technology team. Throughout the years his role expanded into marketing, communications, and media relations. After briefly leaving the Davidson Institute in 2014, he returned in 2015 in a new position as Alumni Relations Manager, and has since transitioned into his current role as Director of Communications.
In 2005, Mark earned his B.A. in Public Communications from SUNY Buffalo State University. During this time he also attended the University of Nevada, Reno for one year as part of the National Student Exchange program, and participated in several marketing internships. In 2014, Mark received an M.A. in Communication from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
A big reason Mark enjoys working for the many entities of Davidson is that no two days are alike. He is constantly undertaking new projects and frequently collaborating with the talented Davidson team. One of the favorite parts of his job is the opportunity to work alongside super motivated colleagues who inspire him daily, helping to make a difference in the lives of countless gifted students and their families.
In his free time, Mark enjoys traveling domestically and internationally, playing and watching sports (Go Bills!), and exploring new restaurants and cultural opportunities.
