Summer Programs Manager
After attending summer camp for many years as a child, Avery was thrilled to begin a seasonal position as a Program Assistant with Davidson Summer Programs in 2018. After graduating with her bachelors degree, Avery was thrilled to join the year-round summer team and work to plan our three annual summer camps. In her free time, Avery enjoys baking, adventuring outdoors, crafting, fostering kittens for the local shelter, and spending time with friends and family.
Professionally, Avery enjoys working at Davidson because it has allowed her to meet a diverse group of people and develop unique skills in regard to working with youth. Creating and implementing exciting and thoughtful summer camp activities allows Avery to relive the best parts of her childhood, while also meaningfully engaging with and positively impacting today's children.
