Financial Services Coordinator
Misti is a native Nevadan, born and raised in Reno. Growing up, Misti loved animals and was very active in 4-H. Misti raised pigs and rode horses, so it was only fitting to follow her best friend to Oklahoma for her college years.
Misti returned to Reno where she started her career and family. Misti now has two adult sons and two adult stepchildren. As empty nesters, she and her husband enjoy the RV life whenever possible. Traveling the U.S., especially to national parks, is a favorite pastime. Other hobbies include rockhounding, making wire and stone jewelry with her finds, gardening, off-roading, riding motorcycles and making memories with her family.
Misti has been a part of the Davidson Institute team since 2010. Although her main responsibility is coordinating the Financial Assistance programs for both the Institute and Davidson Academy Online, she also enjoys the variety that other tasks bring to her job. This includes fiscal matters with the online programs and assisting in the disbursement of Davidson Fellows scholarships. Meeting families through each of these programs is always the highlight. Misti feels fortunate to work with a team of professionals who are dedicated to the profoundly gifted community.
