Director of Davidson Fellows Program
Tacie has worked on the Davidson Fellows Scholarship program since her first day at the Institute. Over the years, she has worked with thousands of students. There have been many changes implemented and the Fellows program has grown considerably, but the one thing that has not changed is the high caliber and motivation of the applicants.
Working with students through the application process is Tacie’s favorite part of her job. With every application cycle she loves to see the creativity in students’ projects, and sees a lot of hope in the future in the young scientists, writers and musicians.
A common question Tacie receives every year is what advice does she have in applying for the Fellows Scholarship. The advice is, read the application and if you have questions, never hesitate to reach out. This advice applies to any scholarship a student is interested in pursuing.
When she isn’t working on the Fellows program, Tacie loves working in the backyard with her husband, and all things travel. She has a daughter in high school and a son studying geologic engineering in college. She has three rescue dogs, Mike, Leo and Stevie who also keep her very busy.
