Create an Account/Login for the Application System

  • Access our Application System at https://davidsongifted.smapply.io/
    • You will need to create a unique account per student applying. Please make sure the name in the top right-hand corner of the account portal is the STUDENT/APPLICANT’S NAME before creating an application.
    • Parents will need create their own separate accounts and be added as a collaborator to the student’s application.
  • Once you are logged in, select Davidson Explore from the list of available programs and create an application.

Verify Email Correspondence

  • Email notifications are sent out at several points throughout the application and admissions process. If your email account is not verified or you are not receiving the emails, you will miss out on important information.
  • Add @davidsononline.org and @davidsongifted.org to your safe sender list and notify your recommenders and all parent/guardians to do the same. This will minimize the chance of emails/notifications sent by the application system and the applications and assessment team being classified as spam or junk.

Complete the Application by January 31, 2025

Applications are not considered submitted for review until all tasks are marked as complete and have a green check mark, and the application has been submitted. The SUBMIT button will be available when all tasks are completed and you are in the Student/Owner’s Account while viewing the application.
