The Davidson Summit is our annual flagship summertime gathering for Davidson youth and their families, where relationships are fostered with other Davidson families and the Davidson Institute team.
The Summit weekend is packed with a plethora of fun and engaging activities for the whole family! Yes, this means that siblings of Davidson youth who are non-members can attend. Parents are required to supervise all youth (current members and non-member siblings) at all times during the event, with the only exception occurring when current member youth are signed into a youth workshop. Davidson Institute staff ARE NOT available to supervise non-member siblings at any time during the Summit.
The Summit is hosted in Reno, Nevada on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, which is a public University campus that is very active during the summer weeks. Not only is the University an open campus to the Reno/Sparks area, but the University also has summer college classes and other summer programs which are often held during the same time and weekend. As a partner and affiliate of the University, we must agree to abide by all University policies during the Summit weekend, and a main University policy is to ensure all minors are accompanied by a parent/guardian, for their safety, at all times.
Some activities and events are curated for the whole family, while others are solely for Davidson youth and others for adults only.
