My child really enjoyed the program as well as the residential experience. The counselors were also fantastic, which really make the experience more special.

The STARS staff are amazing! From the open house Zoom meeting to the email communication, the staff share all the information and answer questions. That means a lot to families, especially when it is the first time for the students to have overnight camp in a completely new environment.

This was our child's first time at an overnight camp. She LOVED it! She said, "Sorry, but I didn't miss you guys at all," when we asked her if she got homesick! She loved Dr. Ian De Jong's Character Builder class--she said he was a fantastic teacher! As a parent, I liked that we had access to an outstanding photo stream--it put my mind at ease to see pictures of her with friends and enjoying activities. I also appreciated the many avenues for connection with other Davidson parents while we were here.

At STARS, kids meet other kids with similar interests and temperament.  Kids get the chance to be independent and build confidence. Amazing!
